Hello! Quick Question that I think I know the answer to, but just double checking for precaution: If my extension of stay is "permitted up to May 2nd" does that mean I can book a flight for the 2nd of May?
Or do I have to leave before that given date of May 2nd and instead book something for May 1st?
The language of "up to" seems to imply the former, but just double checking, do not want to get charged for overstaying by only a few hours.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can book your flight for May 2nd, as your extension of stay indicates you can remain in the country until that date. However, it is important to leave by 23:59 hours on May 2nd to avoid any overstay penalties.
It's based on a tourist visa, but I more am wondering when the very latest I can stay until is....Like am I allowed to stay to May 2nd... as in like still be in the country on May 2nd but leaving that day... Or must I leave prior to the date of May 2nd?
If this Extension of Stay is based on Tourist visa or Visa Exempt Entry, you can just leave. If based on ED visa, working etc you have to cancel this Extension of Stay before you leave at your Immigration Office.
