I recently signed a 6-month remote employment contract with a start date in October. I already have the signed contract and an employment confirmation letter from the company, but I have not started working yet.

Has anyone successfully applied for a DTV using a future employment contract before the employment start date? Were there any issues with the application, or were the contract and employment letter sufficient?

Not optimal. It could work, but many embassies are now asking for more proof that you already have a job, pay taxes, earn income, etc.
