TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a Thai e-visa while in Turkey, questioning whether to use their parents' computer in Germany or their current Turkish IP address, if selecting their home country embassy would cause issues, and the average processing time for the visa. Community responses mention that the e-visa system does not track IP addresses, but applicants must show a flight from their current location to Thailand. Additionally, each consulate may have different processing times.
But the embassy is going to require you to show a flight from where you are applying to Thailand. So if you do not have a flight booked from Germany to Thailand, they will not issue you a visa. If you try showing them a flight from Turkey to Thailand, they will reject your application.
ok so would it make more sense then to just go to thailand on the 30(60) day exemption and then visit a neighbouring country and apply at their embassy in person?
i plan to stay in asia again for 8-12 months at least before i go somewhere back to europe.
