Should I apply for an e-visa for Thailand from Turkey using my parents' computer or my current Turkish IP, and what are the processing times?

a.) if im not currently in my homecountry, should i use my parents computer to apply for the visa or use my current turkish ip?

b.) will there be issues if i select the embassy in my homecountry (germany) while im here in turkey? do i need to send any real documents to the embassy?

c.) is the avg processing time of 24-72 hours true? i would fly on the 20th

The e-visa system does not track IP address.

But the embassy is going to require you to show a flight from where you are applying to Thailand. So if you do not have a flight booked from Germany to Thailand, they will not issue you a visa. If you try showing them a flight from Turkey to Thailand, they will reject your application.

Every consulate has a different processing time.

ok so would it make more sense then to just go to thailand on the 30(60) day exemption and then visit a neighbouring country and apply at their embassy in person?

i plan to stay in asia again for 8-12 months at least before i go somewhere back to europe.

you can get 5 months in Thailand if you do that. 30+30 on exempt and then 60+30 with the tourist visa you get from a neighboring country.
