Hello! Anyone who had a Non-ED visa last year, flew out of the country and came back on a visa on arrival was able to get a Covid extension recently?

I heard people with non-ED & non-B stamped on their passports can not get this extension anymore. Does it change if you left afterwards?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around whether individuals who previously held a Non-ED visa and returned to Thailand via a visa on arrival can obtain a Covid extension. It has been noted that visa on arrivals are not eligible for the Covid extension. However, holders of tourist visas and visa exemptions may be eligible. Previous visa stamps should not affect eligibility unless there are suspicions of unauthorized work.

You did the ED visa? Did you actually study? I was considering a non-test ed-visa.

Tourist visa (60 day) and visa exemptions (30 day) are eligible to apply.

Your previous stamps should have no effect unless they suspect you of working here

When they issued this new round of covid extensions they specifically excluded visa on arrivals, should be the official notice in posts from around end January.

but tourist visa is not different from visa on arrival

Mariana Lourenço. TR and VOA are definitely different. One is obtained from an embassy, the other from immigration

Mariana Lourenço. This is an entry stamp, not a visa

Mariana Lourenço. So it's not a VOA. It looks like you have visa waiver under the bi-lateral agreement with Brazil. I'm not aware if you are eligible for a covid extension. My advice would be to check with your immigration office. You may be eligible if the bi-lateral is treated the same way as an exemption
