TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, a 30-day stamp granted at the border can be extended for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office. Currently, nationals who receive a 30-day visa exempt stamp at a border are eligible for a 45-day stamp until March 2023, and this can also be extended.

I can’t tell from your profile but it appears you may be American, in which case the above does apply.

Currently those nationals that could get a 30 day stamp visa exempt at a border will get 45 days until March’23. Yes this can also be extended once for 30 days at a local immigration office.
