Hi guys, student visa are open? must go to Thai ambassy in Laos right? Is it road border open?

Thx

Answer summary

The discussion indicates that student visas are typically processed after arriving in Thailand rather than at an embassy. Currently, the land borders remain closed, and student visas from embassies are available primarily for formal university courses or international schools. Individuals can obtain student visas once in Thailand with support from the educational institution they are enrolling in.

Student visas are not being sold from any embassy/consulate (to my knowledge) unless it’s for a actual university course or international school. You can get them once in Thailand with liaison from the school you are applying (language, Muay Thai, etc).

Yes, most people get them AFTER they arrive in Thailand, if they arrive on a visa exempt, or tourist visa.

>must go to Thai ambassy in Laos right?

The land borders are still closed.

You will contact the school, and a good school can get an in-country Non-B visa. How are you planning on entering Thailand? Are you getting a visa?
