My business partner had a 2 day overstay about 4 months ago. He’s currently attempting to switch from a Covid extension to a Non-B. The immigration officer didn’t even look at his paperwork after seeing the overstay in his passport. Told him he has to leave and come back in on the Non-B. Open and shut case for him unfortunately. But, that’s not saying it can’t or won’t be different for you…just probably best not to get your hopes up.
