I come to Bangkok to do surgery but I get scammed by the owner of the beauty clinic in Ekkamai she run away with my money around $4000, she always blame me for some reason, I read on the review not only me gets scammed by her.

My question is what is the first step should I do. As a tourist I don't know what is the law here, will police help me for this case ?

If you have experience before please share to me,your advices mean everything for me.

Hello, My girlfriend and I have arrived in Chiang Mai to check out a building project her father started but ran out of money near completion, approx 45 million baht was put into it. It’s been sitting in the hills for 15 years and now we want to take on the project and I have been made power of attorney and have teh chanote deed. We need advice on what type of visas could we possibly be eligible for and considering the substantial amount invested already by the company does that allow for us to maybe be open any type of investors visa? Bank question - I recently wired in a sum for leasing property. Lease was signed but seller is ghosting me. Funds are still in my account. Because this was a long term lease the funds were designated specifically for this chanote. So…I’m told I CANNOT use the funds to lease other land. However I’d love to know if anyone has had a situation like this. I see two options;

1. Wire money back out (I will go to bank tomorrow and ask if there is any reason I cannot repatriate my funds).

2. Have the land office sign off on using the funds for another parcel.

Am I off base? And yes - I am discouraged to say the lease but Sabai Sabai.

Thank goodness I am not involved, but getting some insight into the Thai legal process today and man it's depressing. That said, if anyone knows a Thai bail bondsman send me a message

Looking for a lawyer in order to start a business on Koh Samui.

Preferably a lawyer that lives and knows Koh Samui very well.
