Forgive this question as I'm sure it's been asked a million times but:
I am from the UK want to retire to Thailand and am in a long-term relationship with my Thai girlfriend.
I have been to Thailand 6 times over the past 2 years and now wish to spend summers in the UK and winters in Thailand.
I want to apply for a Non-Immigrant O-X Multi-Entry (5+5) Visa and qualify in all eligibility except the Thai bank account (my 3m bht is waiting to be deposited).
To get the Thai bank account I need a visa (can't open one with a tourist visa).
Hey guys. I have a 1 yr O-A visa. Before it expires, what options do I have? Can I extend 1 year without going thru the application process again? Can I apply for the 10 year visa provided I have the funds in an an account?
Hi there. Just applying for my Non-Immigrant O-A visa. I am currently in Australia and will be applying from here. A question relating to the Foreign Insurance Certificate. Any recommendations on a provider? Many thanks.
i have noticed for a Australian to retire in Thailand you must so proof of 65,000 a month going into a Thai account my pension will be Approx 50,000 a month but will have 4 million baht in a Thai bank account is this ok for a retiremevi8saretiement
I'm about to get a divorce to my thai wife. Do I have to also go to Chaeng wattana (I'm in Bkk) to cancel my extension of stay, that expires anyway on 6 May? I searched but couldn't find much related to this process.
I thought that once I sign the divorce, it will nullify my non imm o extension of stay and I have to leave within 24hrs of the papers being signed.
Or if I sign the papers and just leave, what's the worst that could happen? As I say, the ext of stay expires 6 May anyway
