TDAC – A Friendly Clarification (and a Little Nudge)
A few days ago, I made a post about the Thailand Digital Arrival Card.
(The comment section has since been closed – not sure why).
Here’s the link to the original post:

And here’s the official update from TAT: 2 hours old.

So yes – Thailand was initially missing from the dropdown. That was an error, which I confirmed directly with TAT. It will be there when the system goes live.
In my own case – having previously held a NON-B visa and now holding a DTV – I am supposed to select Thailand as my country of residence, because I have my apartment here, live here, pay tax here, and is here 300+ days a year.
I must say it’s been amusing to read some of the confident “expert” answers in the group with things they don't know anything about.
So here’s a kind request:
Let’s try to stick to facts and official sources when giving advice – especially in a group where people rely on accurate information. Guessing can be fun, but it’s not always helpful. 😉
Morning all… I accessed the new TM06 online form to test it out as I will have to use this regularly in the future. However when it asks for country of residence Thailand is not an option. I live in Thailand but work overseas. It is easy enough to put in a different country and another phone number, but this is not applicable to everyone. Do we know if the form is still in development or do we have to use a different country of residence.
Can you put Address in Country of Residence the same address as proposed address in Thailand on the application form? I don't know if that would cause any issues? Should I put my Canadian address?
