Trying to think ahead … I received a one year ‘extension’ on my 90 day non-o Visa. Used my own funds to open a bank account and deposit the required ฿800,000, (plus an extra ฿65,000). However, I did hire an agent and received my ‘extension’ shortly after opening the account. So the money was not seasoned for two months.
Will that be a problem if I want to switch to the “income method” and make the required deposits for the next year?
I still have over a year before I have to renew the stay permit.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a one-year extension on their 90-day Non-O visa and is considering switching to the income method for the next year's renewal. They are concerned about whether their funds, which were not seasoned for two months after being deposited, could cause issues when making the transition. Responses suggest it may depend on the policies of the local immigration office, with some previous experiences indicating that starting monthly transfers early could help meet requirements.

Yes it could be if the Immigration Officer not only checks that you maintained 800k for the first 3 months of your extension then 400k for the rest of the year but also that the 800k was properly seasoned. They will sometimes force you towards an agent again if there is a chance of a kickback.
if the 1-year extension starts on the day after the 90-days stay permit expires, everything is ok. So if you start with the monthly transfers now, you will have collected 13 or even 14 transfers by the date when you apply f or the next extension
