I signed up for bolt and grab. I want a ride from Bangkok Airport to my airbnb in Jomtien. Should I have any problems booking this ride when I land in Bangkok?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You shouldn't face issues booking a ride from Bangkok Airport to Jomtien using Bolt or Grab. Many users have reported that both apps work well, but Bolt might be cheaper. Ensure you have cash for Bolt as it operates on a cash-only basis and the fare won't include toll fees. Alternatively, you can consider taking the bus to Pattaya and then a local ride to Jomtien for a more economical option.

Get the bus to Jomtien and bolt to your destination accommodation... Easy and cheap!

Just set it up with her Bolt and Grab not that great for long distance

I don't know about BKK, but the Phuket airport does not allow the third party taxis to do pickups.

recently spent a week at Jomtiem -- had the hotel book a limo -- that way I knew we'd find it :)

Can get the bus straight to Pratumnak . Drops off at Junction between Treppassit Rd and Trappia Rd . At Foodmart Supermarket . Can get either a Motorbike taxi or Baht Bus from there to Jomtien .

Take the bus to Pattaya and catch a ride from there, probably cheaper.

Can also take the bus from the airport to Pattaya then catch a ride to Jomtien.
Providing you don’t mind waiting a few hours for the next available bus plus they charge you extra for luggage (payment in cash only) other than that it’s a decent option
Shouldn't have any issues at all. Always check both apps but Bolt is likely to be cheaper. And make sure you have some cash as Bolt is cash payment only and your ride won't include the price of tolls.
the driver can change the amount, as I saw firsthand on Sunday. My 200 odd baht charge to Swampy got changed to 3 baht by the driver with me giving him the difference in cash.
