I flew into bangkok on 5/5/21 and renewed my visa at Pathumthani on 18/06/21 its valid until 18/07/21. Pathumthani told me the next visa i will be eligible for will be the 60 day covid visa extension. My plan is to go to phuket and apply for a one year educational visa to train muay thai at AKA. They have said ill need 45 days to apply for the ED visa once I'm there.

My question is: would there be any complications applying for the covid extension in phuket? Given that my last visa was issued in Pathumthani?

Also: if i apply for 60 day covid extension in Pathumthani, would there be any complications when i apply for my 1 year ED visa in phuket.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on potential complications when applying for a 60-day COVID visa extension in Phuket, given their prior visa renewal in Pathumthani, as well as any issues that may arise when transitioning to a one-year educational visa for Muay Thai training in Phuket.

You won't get a one year ED visa no matter where you apply in thailand or what school you go to. You'll get a 90 day ED visa and then get that extended when the 3 months run out BUT that is between you, your school and the immigration office you deal with

you won't have any problem applying for your next covid extension where ever you are staying at the time. Different offices have slightly different requirements but you shouldn't have any issues getting it

No problem at all applying for the next extension in Phuket if that's where you move to
