If you go to a thai bank with euros, then change to baht in the bank and credit it to your account would that be recognised as money coming from overseas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that simply exchanging euros for baht at a Thai bank and crediting it to your account does not constitute money coming from overseas. For it to be recognized as an international transfer, it must be processed as a foreign transfer, often indicated with an FTT code. Comments further note that even ATM withdrawals from overseas are not treated as foreign transfers for purposes such as visa requirements.

If sent by WISE is this a international transfer? I think the money from abroad will send in Thailand from an Wise account at the Kasikorn bank to your thai account

Oh dear! Don't be silly! Not even an ATM withdrawal from overseas is recognised as a foreign transfer (although it is for taxation purposes! ๐Ÿ˜†)

No, of course not. That would show as a deposit.

You need a foreign transfer coded as FTT for it to be an international transfer
