Why is the Vientiane booking system completely booked for May but has plenty of availability in June?

Is it normal for the Vientiane booking system to be fully booked 2 weeks ahead?

It's just strange because everything in May is booked out but then every slot in June has 50+ slots available. There's no gradual decline.

Anyone experienced this?
