It's my back up plan in case I don't have other stuff figured out by the time I land in Thailand

I understand you can buy tickets in person for a few $$$ but Im specifically wanting to do this online

thanks for the tip!

You are better off telling them you can't buy the ticket online. Just say you plan to leave on the bus or train and you plan to buy the ticket when you leave

This definitely won't work with your airline in yr home country. They won't let you board the plane to Thailand without evidence of a booked ticket to leave Thailand!

You are probably better off googling "onward travel ticket" and renting a plane ticket, if you're only worried about showing onward travel out of Thailand.

But immigration most likely won't care if you don't have any red flags in your recent history in Thailand. Your airline is the one who will probably want to see travel out of Thailand.

thanks so much. This was excellent advice!!!

@Jonna ******
they send you an email with a pdf.

And yes it can be used for as long as you want, but if anyone checks it, it will show that it's no longer valid. I doubt anyone would check but I always made sure it was valid when I used it just in case.

do you just take a screenshot of the ticket btw? That would mean that it could be used for longer than whatever its valid for on their site

@Jonna ******
the tickets are generally valid for 24-48 hours so you'll want to wait. But yes I've used it twice

I just googled that. Have you used the service before? If I arrive in Thailand on Sunday, I guess it's too early for me to book it today?
