Why have cooking course prices increased in Thailand, specifically at Arun Thai cooking?
Please note that Arun Thai cooking has increased their prices AGAIN!!! Literally talking to them Monday and Friday something’s are double the price. Good on you if you got your DTV last year, this year the price gouging is real.

They are here to sell you access to a visa and make it profitable not to offer a genuine cooking experience. Most people come here for that anyway. That’s how the problems start and things getting stricter. It happened with the ED, it will with the DTV.

I feel that is just like the replacement of the bubble of "ED" before. When they find that still many so-called illegals and unfriendly behavior existing, they will ban and label the "Cooking DTV Visa" as the bad, misuse, abused Visa type. 😮💨

John Doe Da 1st Not every cooking school is approved. Maybe providers are starting to realise the economic value of their courses? As it seems the SP applications are coming under more scrutiny it seems logical.

yeah I understand that they don't all meet the criteriato be approved by the Government for DTV classification etc... but I'd imagine there somewhere in region of 150-200 cooking schools within the Greater BKK area

John Doe Da 1st Yup. She realised the hassle would be a nightmare even if she could change 50k ++ more for a car than to a Thai. She is a very devout Buddhist and likes the quiet life.

John Doe Da 1st Many schools also do not want the hassle of getting certified. Many just do not want to deal with bureaucracy and hassle dealing with Foreigners. My friend has a garage and she asked me about selling cars to Foreigners. I said charge more but do the whole transfer service. She slept on it and next day said Foreigners too much trouble. Forget it 555
