Why can't I find the Non-O retirement eVisa option for Thailand on the application website?

Thank you so much for the comments. I applied for it last night at 9pm Pacific time. And got my visa approved this morning.

I’m trying to apply for a non O retirement evisa from the USA. In the evisa website. Under the non immigrant visa option, retirement option isn’t showing up today. Last month when I checked it was there. Is there something wrong?n

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues with the Thai eVisa website, specifically that the Non-O retirement visa option is missing. Commenters suggest that the website was recently updated, causing confusion regarding visa categories. They recommend applying for the 90-day Non-O visa instead and then visiting Thailand to convert it to a one-year visa after fulfilling other requirements like opening a bank account.

where do you live in the USA? I found the Thai Embassy in Los Angeles very helpful. if you are near a Thai Embassy in the USA it would probably better to do a face to face contact. let's just say that printed information can be flexible. In Thailand there is always an option to everything.

Thai embassies do not allow foreigners on the property anymore. ALL visa matters worldwide are handled through the online e-visa system.

If you’re looking at the Thai Embassy website in the United States, I believe the Non O-A is under “Long Stay”, NOT under “Non Immigrant O”

Find the 90 day Non-o visa you apply for that one then come to thailand to open a bank account and deposit savings or start depositing monthly min income for 12 months - once in thailand you will goto immigration ( after you have opened bank account and deposit funds and other steps you will need ) to extend the non-o visa to 1 year.

I believe it's "deposit savings AND start depositing monthly min income", if you want to pull money out after 12-months and rely on monthly deposits of at least 65,000 bhat after your first 12-month extension expires.

They updated the system like 2 weeks ago and made it more confusing. This is the 90-day non-O visa now.
