Does anyone know *definitely* which schools/academies fulfill the Culinary Arts training requirement for the DTV? I'm specifically interested in Krabi Provence, Bangkok and Phuket, in that order.

Also, does the period of study have to be of a certain length?

(I see plenty of 1-day and 1/2-day courses offered at the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy.)

And just fyi, ChatGPT references The Blue Elephant as a possibility. I've just received word from them that they are not registered with the Ministry of Education, and so they do NOT meet the DTV requirement. Which is a shame, because their courses and facilities look pretty bangin'.... 😃

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry seeks definitive information on schools or academies in Krabi Province, Bangkok, and Phuket that fulfill the Culinary Arts training requirement for the DTV visa. It highlights the need for courses that are recognized by the Ministry of Education, as the Blue Elephant cooking school has been confirmed not to meet these criteria. There is also a query about the duration of study required, with a suggestion that short courses such as 1-day or 1/2-day offerings are likely insufficient.

Yes, they are more and more focused

on the length (usually a minimum of 6 months for Muay Thai; cooking class I don't know). Forget about the idea of a 1-day training, 5 year visa 😉.
