TLDR : Answer Summary
You can obtain a re-entry permit for your single visa at any immigration office in Thailand, including the one near On Nut. Additionally, it is possible to get a re-entry permit at the airport.

DM do not have service charge, so maybe you will need your own photos / doc' copies. I don't know - have only used SUV.

yes it's 24 hours and it's next to the immigration counter. After checking in you'll get it. So easy. Don't stress. Keep 30 mins extra for this

Nothing will go wrong because I do it all the time . They will charge you 200 more but you don't need to fill up or take any photo with you.

somehow I would feel more relieved to get it a day before. If anything goes wrong at the airport I'm screwed.
