What should I know about booking international flights with VIETJET to Thailand?
If you book flights through the VIETJET app be aware that domestic fares are dealt with in Vietnam ONLY however international to Thailand are a different company and any inquiry must be directed to Thailand . Though it appears it is one company they will not issue credits to each other or share. The call centre number shown in the web site is for Vietnam ONLY . Thai vietjet is +6620891909 . I just wasted an international flight ! Fly AIRASIA as a much better and professional low cost airline .
Answer summary
When booking flights through the VIETJET app, note that domestic fares are managed in Vietnam only, while international inquiries about flights to Thailand must be directed to a separate Thai entity. The call center number on the website serves only Vietnamese customers. For international issues, contact Thai Vietjet at +6620891909. The author recommends AirAsia as a more reliable low-cost airline, citing a personal negative experience with VIETJET.

Usually, you receive an approval by email with an e-visa PDF that you print and present on arrival. Some embassies may still issue a visa sticker depending on location, but most DTV approvals are now electronic. It’s always worth checking your embassy’s current process before applying.

It's all electronic via email now, but when it was first issued, some embassies were still issuing sticker visas in passports.
