Iโm a British passport holder. I applied for a single entry tourist visa at thaievisa.go.th in early October. Having done this in 2022 I expected it to take a matter of days. I submitted the last of the requested documents towards the end of Oct but still today my application was pending in the system. All research suggested waiting for 30 days before getting worried, but I emailed visa.lon@mfa.go.th this morning and got the visa approved this afternoon.
Just wanted to share the benefit of emailing the embassy should you have any concerns.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A British passport holder shared their experience of applying for a single entry tourist visa through thaievisa.go.th. After waiting for over a month with a pending application, they emailed the embassy at visa.lon@mfa.go.th, which led to their visa approval within hours. This highlighted the importance of following up with the embassy during delays. Several commenters noted recent processing times of 14-16 days and shared their successful communication with the embassy as a way to expedite their applications.

They responded to myself stating there was a 10 to 15 day delay, I responded and asked if they could prioritise my application and they issued it a few hours later. Non O from London
They did respond to someone else and say they were backlogged on applications
Keep in mind single entry tourist visa/Non-O, Non-ED, Non-B can all be applied for THREE MONTHS before you're winging your way here .
Once those visas are issued you have 3 months to ENTER thailand on them, and even if you entered the day the visa was expiring you'd still get stamped in for the amount of time that visa allows
To be fair it has been taking typically 14-16 days recently at the London embassy, but certainly is worth an email if you get concerned since they always respond
