What issues are foreigners facing when purchasing a house in Thailand through a Thai company without monetary contribution from partners?

May I please ask has anyone heard the news that was printed in the Thaiger on 29 July about foreigners purchasing a house with a Thai company but their partners did not put any money towards the purchase and are now experiencing problems with the government over this ruling. If you have been affected by this please advise.

Algerians go through a different visa application procedure and this takes much more time. Result uncertain. You are too late with starting your application.

You don't say where you are or which consulate you applied through, if you are in Algeria you should have applied via France. As I understand it Algerian passport holders go through additional processing which requires extra time which can take up to 2 months or so. If your visa doesn't come through in time you have no option but to reschedule your trip.
