What is the Thailand Elite Visa and what should I know before applying?
Hi all. I heard about a 20 year visa for 1 million baht. Elite visa. Anyone have experience to share please 🙏. Thank you.
Answer summary
The conversation discusses the Thailand Elite Visa, specifically highlighting the urgency to apply before September 15th to secure the current price of 1 million baht, as there will be a significant price increase to 5 million baht post-deadline. Users suggest considering alternative visa options like the 10-year pensioner LTR visa for individuals over 50, which has different eligibility criteria and costs.

If you are over 50 years old you might want to consider the 10 year pensioner LTR visa offered by the Thailand Board of Investment. It costs 50,000 baht for 10 years but you must have a passive income of $80,000/year. It also has a health insurance requirement. There is no 90 day reporting requirement and there are no banking requirements.

I'd hurry up. 15 September is cut off date then prices skyrocket.

Deadline for old Elite visa packages is September 15th. After this date price increase and package structure changes.
