Straightfacts100bro can you please share more information about your DTV Visa Application that has been DENIED... thank you 👍

Just to be clear mate, my application hasn't been declined - I've withdrawn it.

The agent I was using is requesting the monies I'd paid back from various parties on the basis Thai immigration advised him now that rates are 50-50. Allegedly he works closely with Thai immigration and had all passes before hand. He'd recommended to me that I should consider being refunded on the advice to him from Thai immigration which I did.

I am going to apply myself for a 9 months Muay Thai course where the funds at risk (application / fees etc) are less than me using an agent based on the above.

I'll let the group know how I got on once I've applied and had an outcome.

My aim in my original reply on this post was to share my exp and allow others to consider if now is a good time to be applying if losing the fees / flights / hotels with a 50-50 chance of being approved it a good idea for them or not.

This is now being reported among several major sponsors of soft power activities...

Please Note that it's now recommended by many soft power activity course providers to submit at least 9 months or more of your course with your DTV Visa Application. Reason for that is to avoid getting the SETV single entry tourist visa or METV multiple entry tourist visa issued by the Thai Embassy or Consulate instead of the DTV visa applied for.

Reasoning that with the SETV ( 3 months) or METV (6 months) visa you can complete the course you're applying for vs the DTV visa.

THIS will be helpful to know...

thank you for asking the important questions needed to give helpful replies 👍

Note that the author has not said what his/her passport nation is...

Nor where they plan to submit the DTV visa application..

Nor for what purpose for the DTV visa is being applied for...

Workcation or Soft Power Activity...

IF Soft Power Activity which one

And how many months of it are being submitted with the DTV visa application using the Evisa online application system....

Where they are now...

The use of an agent can be helpful for preparing the DTV visa application for submission by the OP when they arrive in the country where they are applying for the DTV visa.

There are always problems with DTV according to anonymous participants. Fortunately, most people can recognise BS troll posts.
