To those who are knowledgeable about trips to Thailand:

May I ask what the process is for a Filipino tourist traveling to Thailand?

Can I board a plane to Thailand even if I don’t have a tourist visa yet?

Is it true that upon arrival in Thailand, a Filipino is granted 60 days of stay, or does a Filipino tourist need to go to the embassy in Manila to get a visa before being allowed to board the plane?

Your help and answers are highly appreciated, especially from those who have experience traveling to Thailand as a Filipino tourist. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Filipino tourists can travel to Thailand without obtaining a tourist visa prior to departure. Upon arrival, they are granted a stay of up to 60 days, provided they present the necessary documents, including a round trip ticket and hotel accommodation details. If traveling alone and sponsored by someone, an Affidavit of Support may be required unless the sponsor is traveling with them. It's advisable to check local travel requirements in the Philippines and consult reputable sources for the most current travel regulations.

no visa needed, I’m a filipino and I’m here in Thailand, our immigration in the philippines airport just ask for the hotel accommodation, return ticket and passport. If you are sponsored by others and you will travel alone, you need an Affidavit of Support that can get in a lawfirm office, if the sponsor is with you going to Thailand, no need of that, just a proof that you know each other, just compile all your photos together in your phone 🫶🏻

yes this is the process as I have been told by an American man who brought over a Filipino lady to visit Thailand he said one thing that made it complicated was he was paying for the ladies flight which Filipino immigration found suspicious, but it did get all sorted out

thank you so much my dear folk😊

My sponsor is together with me going to Thailand..Does I still need my own bank statement or it's okay only with my sponsor.??

@Unconventional ******
if your sponsor is not relative to you, you need to request a bank statement to your Bank so they can still know that you are financially capable on your own.

but if you are married or its your immediate family, just photos together is okay, any proof that you really know each other for a long time
