TLDR : Answer Summary
To travel back to the US, you are required to present a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days before your flight. This test can either be an antigen or RT-PCR test. As of now, there are generally no quarantine requirements upon arrival in the US. Ensure to check with your airline and your specific entry destination for any updated rules, as these can vary.

I flew into New York a few weeks ago (Back in Thailand now) and there was no quarantine at all. I flew with Etihad and they required and checked your covid test (must be taken 72 hours before flying) during check in and during the layover. I think US Customs and Immigration checked as well.

Asides from that, everything else was like flying normally

Check with your airline.

The US requires a COVID test with results within 3 days of your flight. It can be antigen or RT-PCR COVID test.

Again check with your airline to be sure of their rules and requirements to fly.

Check with your destination for their quarantine requirements if any.

Most do not have any now...
