TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users provided various dialing combinations and tips for calling Canada from Thailand. The recommended prefixes include using '001' to exit Thailand, followed by '1' and the Canadian number or trying '+1' directly. For reduced costs, some suggested using VoIP apps like Fongo or Yolla, or even using messaging apps as alternatives.
I imagine phoning Canada from Thailand with a Canadian phone, which I surmise you mean has a Canadian phone number in it will more than likely be very expensive.
If you have a Thai SIM card in the phone then depending which carrier you are using, can vary on the price as some use a prefix number to reduce the cost!!!
Which I imagine would more than likely be cheaper than what you are trying to do!
I usually use messenger or what's app, or if I do have to phone to a landline or mobile I use the required prefix for cheaper calls

The actual number is of course +1-###-#######
However, depending on how/where you are calling from, and what type of phone or business etc you are calling to. It can change how you dial. You may have to add a few numbers at the front. I DO remember using 001 AND 1 in front of the +1-###-#######

001 pour sortir de Thaïlande, ensuite 1 et le numéro.
