Hi, everyone, I want to cancel my ED visa. I have school’s certificate letter, what other documents do I need?

In addition, how long will the Immigration Bureau give me a temporary stay after the visa is cancelled?

Thank you very much for your help🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
To cancel your ED visa, you primarily need the school's certificate letter, though it's advisable to confirm with immigration for any additional document requirements. After cancellation, you will typically enter a grace period (amnesty) providing you until 11:59 PM on the specified date to leave Thailand, or you will have until that time on the same day if you cancel your extension later.

IF you cancel your extension of stay AFTER September 26, you will have until 11:59PM *THE SAME DAY* to leave Thailand.

You'll go to the immigration and ask what their requirements are, but I don't expect you need any other documents.

>how long will the Immigration Bureau give me a temporary stay after the visa is cancelled?

Once the visa is cancelled, you will go on amnesty. You have until 11:59PM on Saturday, September 26 to leave.
