As it feared, it is not easy to get the covid extension with the authority responsible for Rayong. Was there today, all copies and letter of embassy now they want to see a return ticket to see that I stay in Thailand for more than another 60 days, with the addition that it would be a unique affair for me. On Friday I will try a return ticket.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of obtaining a COVID extension for staying in Thailand, specifically in Rayong, has proven to be challenging. Applicants must provide various documents, including copies of previous permits and an embassy letter. Recently, authorities are now requiring a return ticket to confirm that individuals intend to stay for more than 60 additional days, adding complexity to the process.

James Miller I have to go to Germany one more time this year so that I can live in Thailand for a long time next year. At the end of May, beginning of June I will probably fly back, I hope the situation in Germany will be more relaxed

a lot of immigration offices are not handing out these COVID-19 stamps easily. It *IS* an optional stamp and the immigration officer does not have to issue them if they don’t want to
