Hi everyone, I’m preparing to apply for a DTV Workcation in Hanoi, with Vientiane as a possible second option, and I’m looking for people who may have had a similar situation. I’m a self-employed content creator from Korea. I have: • 1–2 years of proven past income from my content business • Korean tax records • active business registration • personal savings above 500,000 THB maintained for more than 3 months • an active portfolio and current content production My main concern is that I have had about a 4-month gap in recent platform income due to a transition in my content/business model. Has anyone here been approved for DTV Workcation in Hanoi or Vientiane with: • a recent income gap • no recent payslips • low or no recent business revenue • but strong past business history, tax records, sufficient savings, and active current work? I’d especially appreciate real approval or rejection experiences, what documents you submitted, and whether the embassy asked about your recent income. Thank you very much 🙏

I'm self employed with almost the exact same scenario. I uploaded my tax returns and 3 months bank statements and applied in Laos with no drama. Seek an agent if you're unsure at least they will compile it for you and won't submit it if they think it will not be approved.

If you don’t mind me asking, did you also have a gap of several months with little or no recent income before you applied? And did you apply in Laos under the Workcation category?

I have tax returns and bank statements showing my previous business income, but my main concern is that I haven’t had new business income for the last few months. Thank you again!

Anonymous participant I had a few businesses but the one for "Workcation" was earning income but not as much as the other business. This is where I think the tax return worked, I showed them I can make money and pay tax and the funds I had were well over the 500k THB.

Just to clarify, was the Workcation business still generating at least some income in the months immediately before you applied, or had there been a complete gap with no income for several months?
