Hi,

Can anyone share any recent experiences of applying for DTV soft power Muay Thai from Bali Indonesia?

Will they ask for extra documents etc or an interview? Looking for the easiest application whilst also enjoying my wait. πŸ™πŸΏπŸ™‚βœŒπŸΏ

TLDR : Answer Summary
Individuals looking to apply for a DTV soft power visa for Muay Thai from Bali, Indonesia should be aware that while applications can be submitted in Bali, the approval process requires an interview in Jakarta. Extra documents may be requested if the necessary ones are not submitted initially, including photos of participation in Muay Thai. One user's experience highlights that instead of a DTV visa, they received a 6-month METV, suggesting that outcomes may vary.

Jakarta is not where you want to detour for a potential interview.

Jakarta usually asks to see photographs of you participating in Muay Thai. If you have some muay thai experience its usually a good embassy to apply to

I applied DTV soft power with Thai Embassy in Indonesia. Waited about a month and received 6 months METV instead of DTV 🀣🀣🀣🀣

You can apply in Bali but the approval is done in Jakarta where you need to go if asked for an interview. You will be asked for more docs if you do not submit what is required. Use a gym with a documented record of DTV approval.
