What are the best translation services for legalizing a marriage certificate in Thailand for a non-o visa extension?

Can anyone recommend a translator for their marriage certificate to be translated from English to Thai to be legalised here for a Khor 22 for the non-o yearly extension.

Have you used one place does does it all? Translate then legalise?

I settled with University of Language Chiang Mai to translate and post over which was 2000 baht for translation which will take 5 business days and 50 baht for postage.

If you are American there’s 3 steps before you go to MFA and then ampur. If you are in Thailand already- it’s not happening.

Valerie Skinner I used this company for my translation and for the MFA legalisation. I took the document into the office and they sent it back by DHL. To get the correct translation of names, they like to have a copy of any previous translation if possible.

When we did ours about 5 years ago, we were advised that it had to go to the Thai embassy in the uk for translation and proof of authenticity. We used an agent to do this (pratamak soi 5 I recall). We then had to take the translation to a government office on Sukumvit, Naklua, to get the kr22.
