What are the best sources for purchasing dietary supplements in Thailand?
Big fat "everything else" topic here. For basic supplements what is your go-to in Thailand? Shopper fine or will I get random filler without the actual supplements? The local gym has a few dusty things on a shelf behind the counter clearly aimed at tourists with more money than sense.
Answer summary
In Thailand, quality supplements can typically be found online via Lazada, especially brands like Optimum Nutrition. Local gyms may carry supplements, but they often prioritize marketing to tourists, so quality can be uncertain. It's suggested to focus on essential supplements like Vitamin D3K2, magnesium, creatine, protein isolates, and multivitamins for general health. For those living in rural areas, online purchases are recommended.

Not needed unless you're a competitive athlete who already has his or her nutrition dialed in and needs that extra push to perfection. Otherwise, almost all products a simply a capitalist moneygrab, preying on those who are well-intentioned but unaware. Focus on improving general nutrition instead. There's a reason they're called "supplements".
