TLDR : Answer Summary
A person with a double entry tourist visa in Bangkok, practicing Muay Thai and wishing to stay for 2-3 years, might consider various long-term visa options. These could include obtaining a NON-O visa for retirees or a student visa that allows for less intensive Thai language studies.
