TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's partner holds a Non-Immigrant O/A retirement visa, valid until October 2020, but is currently unable to exit Thailand due to travel restrictions. Clarifications were provided regarding his entry date and visa validity, indicating that the 'Admitted until' date needs checking. It is deemed premature to discuss extension options, with advice to monitor the situation and consider options in early 2021.

Its way to early to talk about options to extend. Check back early in 2021...and watch news reports whenever borders are again open. Stay cool and safe.

if your partner entered on 1 March 2020 using the non immigrant o-a visa he should have Admitted until 1Machl 2021 stamped in his passport.

I guess you have to check the details of visa and Admitted until date again.

EDIT: Sorry, I typed the wrong month,
