TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai DTV visa in Laos, it is advised to bring Thai Baht (THB) as the embassy only accepts cash payments in THB. Other currencies, including US Dollars (USD), are not accepted at the embassy in Vientiane, making it complicated for those who wish to use currencies other than the national currency.

Visa Fee Payment

Online payment is currently unavailable for this location. Visa fees must be paid in cash (Thai Baht) at the Consular Section (15 Bourichan Road, Ban Phonesinuan, Sisattanak District, Vientiane Capital) either by the applicant or someone else, between 09.00 – 12.00 hrs., Monday – Friday (except Embassy holidays).
