Should I be worried about my visa application status for Thailand's Soft Power DTV?
UPDATE: received the visa one hour ago and am flying to BkK for some Christmas celebrations!!!
Should I be worried?
I applied for the Soft power DTV at HCMC on 8th. Additional documents requested on the 11th.
I submitted on the 12th.
Pending approval since the 16th. Anyone else waiting to hear back? Really hope to make it to Thailand to spend Christmas with my family. 😔

In November it changed fast to pending approval but after that it was 7 days on pending approval stage. I think it’s still a normal waiting time since 16th.

You forget there were two Thai public hols 5 & 10 Dec, which could have easily slowed processing down
CharmingP*********
OPOnly 5th was a holiday- HCMC official website says only two holidays this month. The next one is the 31st.

People need to allow at least a month, soft powers applications are probably facing addition checks. Stay patient and certainly do not leave the country you applied from

I'm waiting also since 12th in the Hague, the netherlands. They like to take their time. Annoying

OPYeah im starting to see that. Hanoi would have been faster but lots of rejections in Hanoi
Kurt *************
CharmingPapaya2903 not really. Key is make your applicatipon easy to read and make sure you fullfill requirements.
The applications that gets rejected have errors or dont fill requirements
