Should I be worried?
I applied for the Soft power DTV at HCMC on 8th. Additional documents requested on the 11th.
I submitted on the 12th.
Pending approval since the 16th. Anyone else waiting to hear back? Really hope to make it to Thailand to spend Christmas with my family. 😔

In November it changed fast to pending approval but after that it was 7 days on pending approval stage. I think it’s still a normal waiting time since 16th.

I am pretty much in the same situation. I submitted my application on the 10th and the additional documents on the 13th. If I remember correctly, the status changed to pending approval on the 16th... still waiting for the decision here

You forget there were two Thai public hols 5 & 10 Dec, which could have easily slowed processing down

My friend applied for soft power in HCMV. Did not get request extra documents. Waited almost 3 weeks until approval. Just last month November2025
