TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about the validity of their Thai driver's license issued thirty years ago, which did not have an expiry date. Responses varied, with some confirming that the lifetime licenses are still valid, while another commenter advised to refer directly to Thai authorities for accurate information. However, recent changes in regulations were mentioned, indicating that current licenses need to be renewed every two years, with options for longer periods thereafter.
Nop, now you mack valid 2 years, after 2 year you can aske for 5 years and this is the max, i ad one and d on renovel for 7 yeays and i have to macke evriting new, 5 h watching tv, one test teorie and tes drivin and this separately from car and moto bicke, if you want the 2,,, 2test separately not 1x 2. why would you risk asking people on here when you simply can go to thai authorities and get the correct information as everyone on every site is an expert but for something serious just go to thai authorities do it correctly!
Scott Patterson because right now I'm in remote Australia. I need to know if I should apply for an international licence before I depart for BKK. I trust this reply answers your concerns satisfactorily. Appreciate your contribution. Should I require any further information or approval I promise to run it by you firstly... Khor thord nah ! 🙏
Scott Patterson ... Sometimes you have to swallow your pride, eat your words, chew your ego and accept that you're wrong. It's not giving up... it's called growing up ! ... หากคุณยอมรับสิ่งนี้ไม่ได้ คุณจะไม่มีวันก้าวไปข้างหน้า ขอให้โชคดีนะ ฟาร์ลัง 🙏
