TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a Thai driver's license in Bangkok as an expat with a retirement visa, you need a set of documents including a resident certificate, medical certificate, and copies of your passport. Start by visiting the Department of Land Transport (DLT) and inquire about specific requirements. It's recommended to get a letter from immigration to streamline the process, and completing an online course may also be necessary. Ensure to have copies of your International Driving Permit (IDP) and visa, and prepare to pay the respective fees for the license.

The only thing you can use is LKS or GMR. If you are smart even DCP will be availiable.
