Is it possible to return to Thailand on a visa exemption after using the STV and staying over 270 days as a tourist?

Hi, I got STV and plan to go back my country this end of Aug. and will come again apply Non-O retirement in Oct. by using visa exemption entry, is it workable and any limitation using as tourist over 270 days on same year? Thanks.

I would ask for this oA visa on your home country as it is easier. And you come in already with it ....

easier to who? many people come here on a tourist visa or visa exempt and then apply for the in country 90 day Non-O visa at their immigration office here

I heard of no rejections to people entering on visa exempts since they started the Certificate of Entry.
