If my visa application is canceled due to incorrect personal information, can I expect my new application to be processed faster?

I received an email today saying that my visa application was canceled due to wrong personal information.

If I reapply, will the process start completely from the beginning?

I’m wondering if there’s any chance it might be processed a bit faster this time, since I’ve already gone through the steps once.

It took exactly one week from the day I first submitted my application to receive the cancellation email.

If I submit a new application now, will I need to wait another full week, or is it possible that applications from previous applicants are processed more quickly? In Hanoi.

Thank you for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the processing time for a new visa application after their initial application was canceled due to wrong personal information. They inquire if the new application process starts anew and whether it might be faster since they've previously submitted an application. Respondents clarify that a new application is treated independently, meaning the process starts from scratch, and no expedited processing is expected.

What appeared to be the problem with your initial DTV Visa Application?

A new application has nothing to do with the old one. Everything resets

I don’t think it will matter. Most of the time, it is just sitting there in a queue
