I just did a 30 day extension of a SETV at Chiang Mai immigration.  Friday afternoon, submitted papers about 13:30....done before 15:00.  Smooth.

I have had people go to the immigration office to get an extension of stay at 10:30 in the morning and walk out of there at 7:30 at night 3 hours after the place closed. So yes, the O/P didn't do too bad..
