Again, many thanks for all the advice on my last 2 enquiries...l applied for my type 'O' visa on Tuesday and was approved today, l have also done my TDAC and will arrive Monday. Both procedures were quite daunting for the first time, but l got it done and am very grateful for all the responses. Cheers...

That was quick Graham mine took 18 days and I got it last week. Are you sure you have done your TDAC on the official site as you shouldn't be able to do it until 72 hours prior to arrival?

l have no idea why it was so quick, but l am grateful. l believe the TDAC was on the official site, l received a confirmation email stating I'll receive the TDAC on the 10th... All through the consulate in Canberra.Judy *******

I was talking about the TDAC, which is not connected to your visa. It’s a digital arrival card and it’s done through Thai immigration not a foreign embassyGraham ******
