Got approved in 4 business days in Hanoi (business owner). I provided an overabundance of supporting documents including six months of bank statements and documents from my state government showing how long the companies have been in existence. It was much faster than I was expecting.

I won't leave Hanoi for a couple of weeks so no report yet on how smoothly the transition through airport immigration went.

Overall I think it is a process that doesn't come close to requiring the use of an agent.

I didn't use an agent because it looked like it would be a very simple process, which ended up being true.

You have to provide all the documents and then you have to submit it so basically you are paying the agent to review what you're submitting. That doesn't seem very cost efficient. I think agents are more valuable when they're doing all the leg work for you.

Congratulations! That is indeed very quick and thank you for sharing your experience with the community.

- Do print out your supporting documents especially your e-visa when coming into Thailand.

- Check your passport stamp when passing the immigration as there has been cases that the officer mistakenly uses the
*****
day visit visa instead of 180 days DTV stamp.

- Will be good to mentally prepare the small chance that they ask some questions about your intention in Thailand and how you will support yourself. It doesn't happen often but it's good to be prepared if it comes to that.

I will have the supporting details on my laptop but I don't think I will print them out because there's probably more than 60 pages
