How can I receive online banking codes when in Thailand but using my Australian or Turkish phone numbers?

Hi friends

I have very disturbing problem.

I can not use My bank cards for online to buy ticets or something else.

Bank sending one time code to my Australian or Turkish phones.

But here I use an Thailand number and I can not reach my phones to get code.

I have sim cards of both phone numbers.

You guys having similar problem like me?

I really appreciated for your advice .

Download Skype and Then call the bank and change your number

In history when my bank was not developed enough I used a token that generates code, nowdays banks app receives codes as long as you are on line. If your issues are more ancient, think I use to leave my sim with my bro in same country, but this was like 20+ years ago 🤣🤣🤣

I give my sister's phone # let her know a code is coming then she sends it to me..have to buy her a nice wine each time I go home

I use my Swedish sim to get texts from..my Swedish bank here in Thailand.

Just put your Turkish or Aus sim in your phone and make the purchase.

Buy a cheap phone put bank card sim in it and make sure it's on roaming to receive text.

That’s why i have a dual sim phone, can still receive messages and calls on my Aussie number and have data, calls and messages switched to thai number for out going

Wait, do you not have the sim cards with you? So u can just switch.. Otherwise, you can add your Thai phone number to your card

 idk what a tourist sim card is. You can use any number you like as far as I'm aware. Just make sure you include the +66 for Thailand and it works fine. I added mine the other day as got sick of swapping sims constantly

 if you have thai bank account you can top up thai phone number online 20baht and keeps thai number active

The long distance number of a Thai phone is different from the local number. Make sure your bank is dialing the long distance number. 06 (local) vs 66
