I’m flying out of Suvarnabhumi on this Thursday at 8:05am and I’m planning to get my re-entry permit at the airport.
1) I understand that the booth is at Immigration area 2. Is that area clearly marked/easy to find?
2) Can anyone confirm that the re-entry booth is open at 5am?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking information about obtaining a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport before their flight. They want to know if the re-entry permit booth is clearly marked and if it opens at 5 am. Comments from other users confirm that the booth is located in Immigration Area 2, is visible from the departure level, and is open 24/7, although there may be a service fee if documents are missing.
yes, the booth is at Section 2 . . visible behind the glass from the departure level. You either must go upstairs, pass through the security scans before you go back downstairs and can access the re-entry booth BEFORE you pass through the Immigration desks. Or if you have a VIP Card, you walk through the security at the departure & check-in level, but then right after the scan must make yourself heard that you need a re-ntry permit, as the next step would be the immigration. Tell the personnell after the scan
Not sure about them being open at that time. If I were in your situation I would go to the nearest immigration office. Multiple entry applications take almost no time at all. Even at Chiang Wattana
