Suggest you choose another Soft Power Activity. You can lose weight on any Thai Visa. Take a look at this combination of Thai language study - Thai Culture study... those courses are enjoyable and eligible for the 5 year DTV visa.

The simple fact is that to apply for a DTV using the medical route you are going to need a minimum of a 6 month treatment plan from a receipt doctor at an established facility. If nobody will provide that you need to think again

Unless you have related conditions it honestly sounds like a muay Thai visa might be a better route

If you had a chronic disease such as diabetes, hypertension and coronary artery disease, you could have filed to send it to Bangkok Hospitals, they would provide you appointment.

I have soft power medical in Chiang Mai through Bangkok Hospital for physical therapy.

-doctor’s report with diagnosis or summary, and history of treatment

-treatment plan (mine was 2 months)

-appointment calendar

-receipts showing all appointments are prepaid

I can’t offer much advice other than to say I was approved with that documentation.

And when did you get the DTV visa?

Recently? Or more likely during the initial months of the DTV visa. When even à doctor's or dentist appointment got the DTV visa issued.

Anonymous participant what about a smaller clinical practice? Boston Polyclinic in Chiangmai might be able to help you, they also have western doctors who may understand exactly what you're looking for.

Be careful posting here, no matter the question, some people in this grp are just bitter and evil and Never have anything positive to say, they just lay waiting to strike, instead of not saying anything if they have nothing positive to offer, just hurt people who want to hurt other people, I feel so sorry for them!😢

Best of luck to you!🫶🏿

They probably don’t think they can make much money from your potential future appointments. Don’t forget they become somewhat responsible by signing papers you're using for your DTV, and I believe major hospitals don’t want to be held responsible if it isn’t worth it. Try with Muay Thai...
