TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it is recommended to use exact change in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), as the consulate often lacks sufficient change. There are mixed reports about accepting Thai Baht (THB); while some users noted THB can be accepted, others emphasized that primarily MYR is preferred. It is safest to bring the exact amount in MYR to ensure a smooth application process.

Just curious what visa did you apply for?

2000baht minus the 50 MYR (about 400 baht) is 1600 baht. :)
