Hi. Ive completed the online arrival card and received the email. Do I need to print it off or just use my phone to show the immigration officer. Thanks.
Answer summary
You do not necessarily need to print your completed arrival card (TDAC) as immigration officers can usually access the necessary information digitally through your passport. Many travelers have had success just showing the card on their phones, as it is often reflected on the immigration officer's system when scanning the passport. However, some users suggest keeping a printed copy as a backup in case of technical issues with your phone.

I have not been asked to provide any details about this to immigration at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
There are clear signs at the airport to have it ready to show so my advice is have it ready to show. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
You won't have to show it to the immigration officer because when he places your RFID passport on his tablet, he will see that you have paid and that your tax form is filled out correctly.
I like to be over prepared, when I get to the counter I present my passport, copy of my visa and have the tdac open on my phone. I just lay it all out on the counter. Their job is hard enough without tourists farting about try to find documents they should’ve had ready for them at the start.
I know everything is digital now but I always print a copy off of everything am just old fashioned, plus if you lose your phone or it breaks highly unlikely but you just never know you'll always have back up..
Do it anytime from Sunday Jan it's straight forward to do but make sure you use the proper website,You DONT have to pay Ive heard of people been ripped off on line paying..🙂🙂🙂
Just keep it handy on your phone. Many people do the tdac in the arrivals before immigration and of course have no ability to print so I wouldn't worry if you dont have a print of your tdac
You can keep a copy on your phone just in case, but you won't need to show anything unless asked. When the immigration officer scans your passport, it will show whether you've completed it or not.
